A celebrated 1920s hotel with a prime Midtown location, steps from Times Square, Central Park and Carnegie Hall

Park Central Hotel may have a similar name to Central Park, but if you confuse them and end up in the wrong one, don’t worry – they’re only three blocks apart. Like many classic Manhattan destinations, this world-famous green is mere minutes from your stay. Also nearby? Times Square and Broadway, which are just down the street, and Carnegie Hall, directly across it. The hotel really isn’t joking about the "central" thing – and the extra-helpful concierge is eager to set you up on seeing the sights.

Or you can just settle into your quieter, lower-key accommodation, because it’s designed to capture what that makes the city great, anyway. The hotel’s recent renovation, overseen by acclaimed designer Jeffrey Beers, was titled "A Love Letter to New York City," and you can expect from it plenty of beautiful Manhattan art and imagery. Since the hotel was a Jazz Age icon in its early days, you can also appreciate plenty of glam 1920s detailing. Scratch the concierge – you’ve got a comprehensive city tour right here.

Can't commit to booking right now?

Hold a date for only $40 while you decide.

  • Pay $40 to hold a date until the end of the sale.
  • If you choose to buy it, the money will go toward your purchase. If not, the cash will be credited to your Secret Escapes account.

Important: Please note, this is not a deposit, complete or guaranteed booking; holding the date simply prevents other members from swooping in and booking your preferred date while you're still considering it. Secret Escapes will not be liable for expenses incurred should that date not be available to book and a hold is canceled.
